Guided Tours

In the summer months we offer guided tours once a week, normally on a Wednesday at 15.15 in the afternoon. We will inform you about the responsibilities of the archives association ("Archivverbund") and of our programmes for the general public. During the tour you will see the reading room, lecture room, the library and the stacks.

The tours last for about 30 minutes and are free of charge.

We also arrange tours for special groups by appointment and are happy to answer questions concerning your special field of interest. We will explain to you how to use the archives, tell you something of the history of the building and will show you some of the oldest documents. These tours last for 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the group.

As we work together with the Volkshochschule Wertheim and other institutions we can offer tours on a special subject on demand.

For further information contact the members of the archives association ("Archivverbund") Tel. 09342 / 91592-0 or Frau Dr. Schaupp (Tel. 09342 / 91592-12) if you want to get some information about tours on a special subject.
