Guided Tours

The State Archives Sigmaringen offers the following tours:

During the summer holidays tours take place every Monday at 11 a.m.

During these tours we show you the building, a former palace, which has been listed as a historic monument and inform you of the tasks of the archivists. You will see the refurbished rooms (garden hall, mirror hall and chapel) the reading room and the stacks, where selected historical documents from nine centuries will be presented to you.

The tour lasts for about an hour and is free of charge.

We also arrange tours for special groups by appointment and are happy to answer questions concerning your special field of interest. These tours last for about 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the group. The tours are free of charge.
