The user is not allowed to photograph or to scan records. Copies, photos and casts of seals etc. are made in the workshops of the Landesarchiv as long as it is assured that no damage is done to the original document. The Fees Order (Landesarchivgebührenordnung) will tell you how much you have to pay for this extra service.
Application forms for reproduction (Bestellung von Reproduktionen) can be ordered on-line or the staff of the reading room will give them to you. The forms can also be sent to the relevant Archives if the exact signatures of the records and the number of the pages are provided.
Reproduction of records are only possible with the consent of the Archives. Therefore it is necessary to fill in a form to ask for permission (Antrag auf Reproduktionsgenehmigung).
