Ordering documents

In the reading rooms of the Landesarchiv you will find special charge-outs you need to order the records which are stored in the stacks. You must know the department where the records are stored, the signature of the record group and the order number of the record group.

If you have verified the signature with the help of the finding aid you can order your records (also on-line) to be read in the reading room. It is important to use a separate charge-out for each of the Archives. You must use the order number (Bestellnummer) and not the arrangement number (Ordnungsnummer) which is also given in the finding aids.
