Preparing your visit

After preparing your visit to one of the departments of the Landesarchiv, you will find the opening hours of the reading room on the internet. You have to fill in an application form for permission with your research details. The application form is available on the internet or in the reading room.

After you have got the permission you can have a look at all the finding aids of the records which are relevant for your research. If you need help, an archivist will advise you.

You are allowed to use your private laptop. Reading devices for microfilms, microfiches and macrofiches are provided.
